5:00 AM Club
A great way to wake up your body is with movement. Incorporating movement first thing in the morning is essential for elevated brain and body function. Our Founder spends her first waking moments laying out her yoga mat and working through her 30-minute practice that concludes with a few deep breaths while standing in her power and presence. 6:00 AM Hydration Station
Getting a full 8-hours of sleep is important for your body to repair. While you sleep, your body is fasting and goes through a major detox cycle. Since your cells are mostly made up of water, water is the first thing you should consume. It's quickly absorbed, easy to digest, and helps clear away any leftover toxins.
Warm up two glasses of filtered water and add a fresh squeeze of lemon juice to each. The warmth of this beverage combined with the bite from the lemon is a great way to gently wake up your digestive system and put your body in an alkaline state to support a strong metabolism. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try adding 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and a few dashes of cayenne pepper.
6:30 AM Hot & Cold
Looking good directly relates to feeling good. Now that your brain and body are awake are awake and your cells are plump with water, it’s time to wash off last-night’s sleep. Hot water has stress-relieving and relaxation benefits that will help you start your day with minimal tension while cold water increases circulation and tightens your skin. Cold water is also believed to improve good-decision making skills. Warm up and then cool down - you have a powerful day ahead that relies on you performing at a high frequency.
P.S. Argan seed oil is a great alternative to store-bought lotions for your post-shower routine.
7:00 AM Post-shower Spa
Pamper yourself before you leave the house. Every morning, I use the duo-combination in The Basiq Collection Bundle to give myself a quick trip to the self-care spa. Mix Argan Seed Oil and Argan Shell Powder into a paste and apply it to your skin for about 10 minutes. Rinse the exfoliating mask off with warm water and finish with a few drops of Argan Seed Oil before putting on your makeup. Your skin will naturally glow through and keep you hydrated all day long.
During this step, I like to sip on my morning coffee or Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie.
*Optional, before you rinse the mask off, gently exfoliate the granules against your skin. This is a great way to buff away excess oil and dead cells.
8:00 AM Dress to ImpressYour clothes are an extension of your personality. No matter what you wear, feeling confident is always the best choice. I find it helpful to pick out my outfit the night before because it gives me more time in the morning to get ready without rushing. Try incorporating fun accessories with neutral pieces for a put-together style.
